Advisory Council
A Values-Driven Strategic Visioning through Community-Building, Repair, and a Racial Equity Impact Strategy
Chicago Dance History Project’s paid working Advisory Council (AC) brings a critical combination of lived experience and conservation expertise that is reflective of the rich histories of dance in the city. Its work guides and informs CDHP’s community based collection best practices around oral histories, archiving, and place-based programming to ensure the equitable preservation and engagement with Chicago dance histories. The Advisory Council is a working council that will produce a collective report that will inform and guide the procedures and policies of CDHP.
Leading the advisory council work is our Public Engagement and Diversity Manager, Liliana Macias, and assisting is Jenna Pollack, a Chicago United for Equity Fellow with CDHP.
