Sani
(Cristal Ramirez)

Sani is a Brighton Park-native who is proud of her roots from Guerrero, Mexico, and her Indigenous lineage. She has been an Aztec danzante for almost 10 years and is part of a community that actively reclaims Indigenous practices from central Mexico. Sani has an educational background in anthropology and Latin American history. Her professional background is in the administrative nonprofit field. When she is not creating or performing, she plays with her two cats.
