Chicago native Wynne Delacoma is a freelance performing arts journalist who has lectured and written program-book articles for Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Ravinia Festival. Her reviews and feature stories appear in Musical America, Chicago Classical Review and the Chicago Sun-Times. She was classical music critic of the Chicago Sun-Times from 1991 to 2006. She earned her master’s degree in music history at Northwestern University’s School of Music and has been an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.
