History in Motion: Sono Osato

History in Motion: Sono Osato, a moderated Panel Discussion took place on January 6, 2016 at the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts. The panel featured Thodos Dance Chicago collaborators, Sharon Lear, Jessica Miller Tomlinson, Melissa Thodos, and Sonia Cooke, in a discussion about Chicago native Sono Osato, her dance career, and the histories of her and her family. In partnership with the Auditorium Theatre for the Made in Chicago series, this event was held prior to the premiere of TDC's "Sono's Journey," an original ballet.
