Venetia Stifler

Venetia Stifler was the Executive Director of the Ruth Page Center for the Arts from 2000 to 2020. Prior to her tenure at Ruth Page Center, Stifler formed CDI/Concert Dance Inc., a company where, as artistic director, she explored choreography as a collaborative art. Stifler trained with dance artists Jennifer Mueller, Alwin Nikolais, and Merce Cunningham and performed professionally for over a decade. She holds a Ph.D. in Dance and Choreography, and serves as Coordinator of Dance at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, where she is a tenured faculty member.
