"Dancers are the hardest working people that I know in the world."

Pamela Crutchfield is a Chicago native and dance champion. She has underwritten choreography for Giordano Dance Chicago, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Luna Negra Dance Theater, and River North Dance Chicago, among others. Pam previously served on the boards of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, DanceWorks Chicago, and the Old Town School of Folk Music. She was honored with the Ruth Page Award in 2009 and the Distinguished Service to the Dance Field Award in 2017.

May 28, 2015: Pam Crutchfield talks about her childhood in Chicago, studying dance, and her philanthropic philosophies. She discusses her time volunteering with the Ann Barzel Collection at the Newberry Library and her involvement with organizations such as Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Luna Negra Dance Theater, and DanceWorks Chicago.
