ERIC TRULES
Eric Trules is a native of New York City. He began his artistic career in 1970 as a modern dancer in Shirley Mordine’s early company. Shortly thereafter, he co-founded MoMing Dance and Arts Center with several other individuals involved in Chicago’s performing arts scene. He is Professor Emeritus at USC’s School of Dramatic Arts, where he joined the faculty in 1986.

The Eric Trules Collection contains a sampling of memorabilia collected by Trules during his time dancing in Chicago: photographs, posters, and newspaper clippings pertaining to performances at MoMing Dance and Arts Center, 1974 to 1977.
